Brent Bozell

Brent Bozell is a frequently featured guest on Fox News, exposing the rampant media bias against Christians, as well as pro-family and pro-life issues. A long-term activist and author, Bozell, in 1987, founded and remains president of the Media Research Center, the largest media watchdog group in America. He also launched CNSNews.com in 1998, and in 2006 founded the Culture and Media Institute (CMI), whose mission is to thwart the efforts of the liberal media to subvert America’s culture, character, moral values, and religious liberty.

Bozell is also nationally syndicated columnist and his work appears regularly in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, National Review and more than 50 other well-know publications. In his articles, he frequently challenges the film, television and other media industries who portray prolifers as haters and abortion as a good deed, such as in a recent ABC’s “Private Practice” episode, which promoted late-term abortions. On May 21, 2011, Bozell wrote: “It’s the ultimate Orwellian argument. We live in a country where 4,000 abortions are performed daily and it’s the pro-lifers who are killers. Just as upsetting as this dramatic smear that the abortion-opposing side is dominated by violent fanatics, was the complete collapse of the pro-life character... Hollywood would never end an episode or a movie with a woman deeply troubled by her abortion converting to Christianity – even though that’s exactly what happened with Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” in Roe vs. Wade. They’d never have an abortionist switch sides – as did the late Dr. Bernard Nathanson. In Hollywood, the pro-lifers fold within 60 minutes. It is truly the land of make-believe.” Bozell also served as president of the Parents Television Council from 1995 to 2006, and has served on the board of directors of the American Conservative Union.
